Bolt of lightning
We know that one of the greatest dangers on a golf course are lightnings, so that the regulation provides for specific behaviors during thunderstorms: when the electric charge in the air exceeds the safety threshold, the players must leave the field and there are heavy penalties for those who errs. In 1975, during the Westlake Open of Chicago the trio, composed by Lee Trevino, Bobby Nichols e Jerry Heard, was struck by lightning. They were bring to the hospital; luckily all of them survived. Only Trevino was able to remain in the higest position of the PGA Tour ranking.
